Medical Receptionist

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Duties: - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date demographic information - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members - Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing - Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Collect payments and provide receipts to patients - Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience Skills: - Proficient in medical office software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes - Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor As a Medical Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our patients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
