Medical Receptionist/Data Entry

We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and excellent customer service to patients in a medical office setting. Responsibilities:

- Data Entry for billing claims into insurance portals
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and data entry

Skills:

- Strong typing skills

-Expert attention to detail
- Proficiency in using medical office software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with emergency room procedures is a plus
