Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role will be crucial in providing support, guidance, and interventions to help individuals reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by BCBAs.
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in home, school, or clinical settings.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior.
- Modify and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Completion of training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and principles of ABA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
