Job Description:
As a Medical Receptionist at GlobeChek, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing them with a warm welcome and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar effectively.
- Answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and providing accurate information.
- Verifying patient information and insurance coverage.
- Assisting with patient registration and check-in procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
