FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

Full Eye Care Facility located in Tamarac, FL looking for a Front Desk Receptionist with at least 2-years experience. Full time, permanent position Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Job descriptions includes:

· Must be Bilingual (speak Spanish and English).

· Must have 2-years experience working for a Medical Facility.

· Must possess excellent computer skills and type 40 wpm.

· Greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone

· Answering or referring inquiries

· Check-in and check-out patients

· Scheduling appointments; notify medical tech / provider of patient's arrival

· Working with referrals and obtaining Authorizations

· Copay / Coinsurance collection

· Insurance verification and following policies and procedures.

· Maintaining patient's accounts by recording and updating personal and financial information

· Working with computer software systems such as Edgemed and MDIntellesys is a big plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Skills:

· Must be Bilingual (speak Spanish and English).

· Must have 2-years experience working for a Medical Facility.

· Must possess excellent computer skills and type 40 wpm.

· Must have excellent customer service skills and be a team player.

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be Dependable and able to work well in a high pace environment.

· Must be able to Multitask under stress, strong organizational and communication skills, telephone skills, flexibility and customer service.

· Must be presentable and courteous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
