Medical Receptionist (Ob/Gyn)

The Women's Healthcare Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist committed to continuing our tradition of excellent patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of health insurance and EMRs. With superior professionalism and communication skills, you're driven by a desire to help make patients' healthcare experiences as comfortable, efficient, and rewarding as possible.

Full Time M-F. Starting wage range $15-$18/hr, Depending on Experience.

Daily Responsibilities include:

• Verifying benefits for patients
• Greet and Welcome patients & visitors (in person & on the phone)
• Register patients according to established protocols
• Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, transfer calls as required
• Collect co-pays and payment

Required Work Experience & Education:

• High school degree; additional certification a plus
• Proven work experience as a Medical Office Receptionist or Medical Billing Professional
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines / printers)
• Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis preferred
• Working knowledge of healthcare insurance
