```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule and confirm appointments using medical scheduling software
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or payments
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as requested by physicians
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or dental receptionist preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Dentrix)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
