Medical Receptionist, Part Time (No Vaccine Mandate)

Island Cardiovascular Associates, a privately owned cardiology group, is looking for Part TimeMedical Receptionist (Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 to 5:30 ) to become part of the team in our Smithtown location with the ability to cover in our Port Jefferson Station office when necessary. This position requires kindness, compassion toward others and working as part of a team.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Checking in/out patients
• Collecting Copays/Coinsurance/Deductibles
• Scanning within our EHR
• Answering telephone and taking detailed messages within our EHR
• Making & Confirming appointments within our EHR
• Must be willing to travel to Port Jefferson Station when needed to cover staff

Job skills include:

• Needs to be organized
• Quick & accurate typing, cannot "hunt and peck" on the keyboard
• Computer literate - knowledge of "copy/paste" "saving a document to your desktop" and basic computer skills
• Multitasking
• EPIC and ADS a plus

Work Experience:

• At least one year Medical Receptionist experience.
• Salary commensurate with experience

Education:

• High School Diploma, Hunter Business School or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
