Medical Receptionist

Robert Half is collaborating with a respected family medical practice in search of a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient administrative operations while delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Answering Phones: Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries, resolve issues, answer questions, and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and communicate effectively to provide a welcoming environment.
• Administrative Tasks: Input patient information, insurance details, and IDs accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Verify insurance coverage and collect payments.
• Appointment Management: Reach out to patients for upcoming appointments and ensure schedules are organized and up-to-date.
• Office Maintenance: Maintain office supplies inventory, ensure cleanliness, and assist in creating a comfortable and tidy environment for patients and staff.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a family medical practice preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and handling confidential information.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with EMR systems.
