Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist with a background in medical terminology and familiarity with the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will oversee the operations of our medical office and be responsible for answering phone calls and greeting patients. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, as well as a professional, courteous and efficient demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Use phone, fax and email communication.
• Answer questions regarding medical settings and procedures.
• Handle basic clerical responsibilities such as filing and faxing documents.
• Maintain medical records and update them as needed.
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate office or staff member.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
