Medical Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the medical office.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Schedule patient appointments using our EPIC system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and tidy for patients
