Greeting and scheduling patients and visitors, calling patients to confirm appointments, answering and routing calls, receiving and posting payments from walk-in patients, and keeping paperwork organized. Scanning patient documents into electronic charts, triaging calls and patient needs with phone nurse. Interview patients to complete insurance and privacy forms. Skilled in Office Suite products such as Word and Excel. Proficient with office equipment such as scanners, fax machine, copy/printer machine. Will use telephones and computers to communicate with patients and staff. Must have excellent communication skills to interact with patients, medical professionals, and supervisors. No travel is required. Regular hours are from 8am to 5pm. Must have a high school diploma or GED with one to three years' relevant experience. Prefers a certified Medical Receptionist.
