Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a full-time Front Office Receptionist to join our team. Applicants must be friendly, courteous, and be able to bring a positive attitude to our team. Job duties would include, but are not limited to; patient check-in and check-out, insurance verification, collection of co-pays and patient balances, answering phones, appointment scheduling, etc. Our office is in close proximity to both a major interstate as well as a turnpike, making travel to our office easy to get to even from the city. Our office hours are from 8:15AM to 4:45PM Monday through Friday.

The starting pay listed is based on applicants with little to no experience. Applicants with prior experience in Pediatrics would be preferred. Salary is negotiable for bi-lingual applicants, or for those with a strong history of prior experience.

Required experience would include:

- Experience with using Electronic Medical Records software

- Experience with insurance varification, and corresponding websites such as Availity, Optum, Cigna, Soonercare, etc.

- Strong multi-tasking ability

- Strong customer service skills

- Experience with appointment scheduling

- Experience with OSIIS a plus

- Knowledge of health insurance, both commercial insurance as well as Medicaid

- Experience with collecting/posting patient payments.

- Bi-lingual applicants are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
