Medical Receptionist 1

EyeCare Consultants is looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our Front Office team! This position is responsible for making the first impression of our practice, so he or she MUST be customer service oriented, energetic, outgoing, and compassionate.

Individuals should be self-motivated, can multi-task, are detail oriented, can perform under pressure, and thrive working in a fast paced environment. Day to day activities include but are not limited to:

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and check them in and/or out for their appointments
• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information
• Collect co-pays and balances prior to patients being seen
• Answer multi line phone
• Process mail and faxes
• Schedule appointments
• Balance cash drawer and make deposits at close
• Work with Microsoft Word, Excel and our medical software MDO
• Additional duties as assigned

Previous medical front office, administrative, or customer service is a definite must. Proficiency in computer skills, being able to work with multiple systems, and dependable attendance is required.

Pay:

• $11.00 to $15.00 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Position/Schedule:

• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
