About Us:
The Wellness Institute of Nashville is a forward-thinking chiropractic practice with a world-class State of the Art technology center that is second to none. We are located in the heart of Mount Juliet and expanding our team. Our fast-growing practice is in search of a health-conscious, highly motivated, upbeat self-starter, to join our progressive team as Front Desk Receptionist. We have a cheerful chiropractic office with a very positive and healing atmosphere. We are also a drug and smoke free facility. If you have a great attitude, interested in broadening your professional horizon, and ready to make a long term commitment, then this position is for you.
Employment Hours (Approximately 35 hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours) must do a monday or wednesday morning to answer phones
Monday: 8:00AM -- 6:30PM
Tuesday: 6:45AM-12:00PM, and 1:15PM-6:30PM (1hr lunch)
Wednesday: 12:45PM-6:30PM
Thursday 6:45AM-12:00PM and 1:15PM-6:30PM (1hr lunch)
Friday: 6:45AM-12:30PM

Our Successful Candidate will:

- Chiropractic or Medical office experience is a must
- Be able to take initiative and be proactive when necessary
- Fitness oriented and health conscious
- Ability to multi-task while working at a fast pace
- Exceptional customer service skills both over the phone and in person.
- Willingness to adapt to our ever evolving state of the Art technology and take on projects not listed below when need
- Able to participate in marketing events to promote the practice at Seminars, farmers markets etc.
- Applicant must have a professional, conservative, clean, and neat appearance.
- Be outgoing, creative, & organized.
- Excellent work ethic-including punctuality is a requirement.
- Understand professional boundaries and demonstrate a no-drama work ethic.
- A heart for serving patients, your co-workers, and the vision of our leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone, greet patients, answer questions within the scope of your job description, etc. with a hospitable and joyful demeanor
- Maintain punctual in-office schedule
- Maintain a professional, orderly, and clean presentation of front office space and welcome area
- Maintain patient records and filing system
- Review treatment plans and process credit applications
- Provide accurate financial processing and accounts receivable
- At all times handle and regard information in a confidential and discreet manner
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Fulfil basic accounting tasks
- Route patients to treatment areas and ensure the office is running smoothly
- Collect and maintain patient financial records
- Provide superior patient service
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the leadership team
Minimum Requirements:
Must have minimum of two years office experience. Candidate must be able to multi-task in an extremely fast paced environment and have a positive outgoing & extroverted personality. This is a fun office with a cheerful staff and great doctors. Excellent Oral & Written Communication skills. Work well individually as well as with a team of your colleagues. Ready to grow your career with a long term commitment. You must be punctual with an excellent attendance record and be able to pass a drug screening.
Compensation: $13 -$17.50 (depends on experience) + bonuses
