We are seeking a dual language (Spanish and English) detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our scheduling system
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and collect copays .
- Assist with order entry for medical supplies and maintain inventory
- Manage calendars for healthcare providers, ensuring efficient scheduling
- Coordinate referrals from other healthcare providers as needed
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized at all times
Experience:
_ Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
