Medical Office Assistant

We are searching for a reliable Medical Assistant to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently.

Experience preferred but not necessary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet patients providing exceptional customer service
• Handle all front desk related activities including answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• EKG and treadmill stress testing as needed
• Prior authorization experience preferred

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Customer service background preferred
• Basic computer proficiency
• Upbeat and positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with patients and co-workers.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
