In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office and assist our patients and other visitors. Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, collecting patient co-pays, processing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. Front office is responsible for the cash drawer and daily reconciliation log, effective time management, and excellent problem solving skills. Must be able to appropriately handle patient concerns, multi-task, and provide a welcoming experience under high pressure situations. Office Assistant / Scheduler.
Normal duties will include:
Answering incoming calls professionally and field to proper personnel.
Manage office correspondence.
Organize and manage customer files from start to finish.
Work jointly with other departments to build clientele.
Other responsibilities will be communicating with customers at least once weekly, collecting deposits and final payments and handling minor complaints.
