Medical Front Office Coordinator

We are a small but fast-paced family care practice, seeking a detail oriented Medical Front Office Coordinator who thrives in a busy atmosphere and is excellent at multi-tasking and working with a team. Medical Front Office experience and basic knowledge in current AZ health insurance plans are preferred. Experience working with Athena is also a plus. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:30a - 5:30p

No Wednesday's! No weekends!

$19 - $22 /hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• COVID 19 Vaccination required
• 3 References
• Attention to detail
• Ability to Multitask
• Current BLS certificate
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required

Medical Front Office Coordinator duties, including but not limited to:

• greeting patients, clerical responsibilities as assigned that may include sending/receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab/X-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information, etc.; completing and faxing forms/requisitions as needed; verifying insurance coverage and patient demographics; managing and updating charts to ensure that information is complete and filed appropriately
• Scheduling
• Payment Processing
• Data Entry
• Answering phones
• Float between check in/check out as necessary, printing lab and imaging orders and referrals when applicable
• Other duties as assigned & based on clinic needs
