Medical Front Office Administrator

Small medical practice is looking for an experienced Front Office Administrator with at least 3 years of experience in a medical office. The candidate will perform a variety of Medical Front Office clerical duties including answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, preparing and maintaining medical charts, obtaining authorizations for patient appointments , submitting requests for authorizations (RFAs) to insurance companies, reviewing faxes, referral coordination, rooming patients, scheduling patient testing and tracking medical test results, filing, scanning, and creating spread sheets and providing clerical assistance as needed. Ability to speak Spanish and knowledge of workers compensation is a plus. The position is full time Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends. This is not a trainee position.
