Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Retina Consultants, Ltd. is a medical and surgical retina practice serving the greater Chicago area with offices in Des Plaines, Libertyville, Elgin, Lisle, Hickory Hills and Wilmette. Our team specializes in adult retinal disease and pediatric retinal disease and has been providing unmatched care to the Chicago area for over 35 years.

We are searching for a Front Desk Receptionist for our Des Plaines, IL location as well as our , Skokie and Elgin locations. This is a full-time role that offers competitive wages, opportunities for advancement, and a great team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet patients and obtain clinical, financial and demographic information

Inform patients of account balance, collect payments, and prepare receipts

Answer/route telephone calls

Schedule and confirm appointments

Scan charts and patient reports as needed

Create and maintain patient charts when necessary

Experience using electronic medical scheduling platforms is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
