Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and excellent customer service to patients and visitors. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Assist with billing and coding tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk area
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide general administrative support to the medical office staff

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
