Salary**OVERVIEW**
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our private practice. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a vital role as you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors over the phone and in-person.
**DUTIES**
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records using medical terminology
- Collect patient balances
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using office equipment, such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as eClinicalWorks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Travel to another satellite office weekly is required.
