Front Desk Receptionist- Medical Office

Salary range: 31,000 – 39,000 per year plus a great employee Benefits package

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a self-starting, friendly, experienced individual to join our clinic as a Front Desk Receptionist. As a part of our team you will work at the front desk and assist our patients.

• Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, collecting patient co-pays, processing paper work, scheduling appointments, and verifying demographic and insurance information.
• This position requires you to have close attention to detail
• Participate in providing a welcoming environment for our patients and able to work well within a workplace team
• Our ideal candidate has prior receptionist/ customer service experience , especially in a medical setting , with excellent communication skills
• This is a Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm position

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet patients and other visitors when they arrive
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary
• Distribute forms and tablets to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly
• Collect insurance co-pays
• Manage other office paper work and mail

THE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior receptionist/customer service experience, ideally in a medical clinic environment
• Familiar with medical terminology
