Dinner Cook (Full-Time)

The Holiday Baltimore BWI is looking for a full-time line cook for immediate hire.

The ideal candidate must have experience working in an A La Carte Kitchen and be available to work at least 5 dinner shifts from 4pm-12am.

Requirements:

The Line Cook is a member of the Food & Beverage/Restaurant Team. This individual is required to be detailed oriented; work well in a team environment and enjoy serving guests in a positive, friendly and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment.

Prep food items making sure not to prepare more than estimated needs.

Date all food containers and rotate as per the SOP, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures

Assist in controlling food cost; control food waste, loss and usage per SOP.

Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for the next shift.

Adequate hearing is necessary to hear kitchen equipment, timers, etc.

Adequate vision is required to verify quality and portions of food.

Adequate comprehension and literacy required to read recipe cards and procedures.

Must be able to stand for 8 hours

Must be able to lift up to 70lbs

Pushing bending and kneeling are required.
