Medical Biller

We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join our dynamic team of individuals!

We require someone experienced and proactive who:

· Will follow up on any unpaid claims within standard billing time frames.

· Will be responsible for calling any insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in payments.

· Use billing software to prepare and transmit claims.

· Use of insurance carrier portals for eligibility and claims information

· Work with clients to set up payment plans.

· Knowledge of insurance guidelines including HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements and systems

· Competent use of computer systems, software and EHR's.
Familiarity with CPT Coding

· Perform posting charges

· Perform completion of claims to payers

· Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion

· Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers

· Process claims

· Resolve denial instances

· Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided
