RIVERSIDE EYE CLINIC is a small business in Port Orange, FL. Our goal is to provide ethical eye care in a pleasant environment. We attempt to provide detailed attention to each patient; the environment here is different from some of the larger, more corporate physician practices seen today.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team.
We close every other Friday and the Biller will have every other Friday off from work.
As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement and compliance with industry regulations. If you have a strong understanding of billing practices, (including out-of-network billing), excellent attention to detail, and would like to work in a pleasant, solo-physician practice environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm accurate codes for each encounter
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies
- Understand how to bill out of network claims
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving any billing discrepancies or issues
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients, posting them to the appropriate accounts
- Maintain patient records and billing information in electronic systems
- Stay up-to-date on industry changes in coding and billing procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller
- Be pleasant and Professional
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
