Seeking two qualified and dedicated Medical Billers to join our team! In this position you will be required to perform various tasks including calls to insurance companies, using websites for claim status such as Navinet, Pear, Availity and sending notes and appeals. To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge of medical billing/coding/modifiers and insurance company rules and regulations. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent written and communication skills and a great investigative mind to get claims paid. Knowledge in internal medicine, neurology and cardiology a plus. Knowledge in Kareo a plus. A minimum of 3 years experience in medical billing collection calls to insurance companies. Must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Our office is also looking for a qualified data entry clerk to enter superbills using the proper cpt codes, modifier and icd 10 codes. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in entry to apply for this particular position. Knowledge of neurology, cardiology, internal medicine and podiatry is a must.
Part time position 25-30 hours to start and will turn into full time in the future. All work to be performed at your home and must reside in the state of New Jersey to apply. Must be available to work weekdays between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm when insurance companies are open.
