SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant previous experience with medical billing, coding, and collections.
Duties:
- Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure that all billing information is entered accurately into the system
- Create and submit insurance claims
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical billing (minimum of 2 years)
- Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
