About this Role
CompIQ Solutions is seeking a Medical Bill Quality Analyst to support the Services’ bill review operations team. The Quality Analyst is a Senior Bill Review Analyst with experience processing all Medical Bill types which includes hospital, surgery, physician, and ancillary provider bills for workers compensation and auto liability claims.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts in-depth audits of Medical Bill reviews processed by bill review analysts to verify accuracy of the data and repricing of initial bills, as well as appeals on all bill types.
- Performs bill review functions in compliance with established, client-specific rules and workflows that may change from time to time, as well as CompIQ internal standard operating procedures.
- Assists in the development and implementation of new audit/review methodologies to identify training/workflow improvements.
- Assists in testing system updates/enhancements.
- Participates in planning, daily meetings, and backlog sessions.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.
- Complies with all company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, and standards.
Qualifications:
Education/Certificates
- Associate or bachelor's degree in medical coding, healthcare or related field preferred, but not required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or another coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC is preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years in a Medical Bill review quality role
- Familiarity with the CompIQ Bill Review Platform preferred, but not required
