ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
To perform this job, an individual must accomplish each essential function satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ensure secondary claims are billed in accordance with payer requirements in a timely manner
- Correct rejected/returned claims and resubmit in a timely manner
- Appeal applicable denied claims within payer’s specified timeframe
- Document all collection activities
- Identify and process credits with management’s approval
- Monitor TN Anytime website for expected payments and any denied claims
- Maintain payer open accounts receivable balances in accordance with company guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain working knowledge of UBO 4 Data content and format requirements
- Maintain working knowledge of RARC (remittance advice remark code)
- Maintain working knowledge of claim status codes
- Perform all duties in accordance with established company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations
- Successful completion of required training
- Handle multiple priorities effectively

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
o 2 years’ related experience
