We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person for an important role in an expert witness business on medical billing. This position is primarily remote; however, occasional in-person meetings in San Antonio will be held as needed. You would be helping our experts prepare their reports. This job requires past medical billing experience with coding knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Process medical bills from clients
- Identify and gather missing information
- Help assess bills for coding practices
- Gather and organize materials to prepare experts for deposition or trial
- Assist with a wide variety of other tasks
Qualifications
-High School Diploma. An associates or bachelors degree is preferred.
- Must live in San Antonio or surrounding area
- Medical Billing/Coding experience required- a certified coder is preferred
- Must be proficient in Excel and Adobe
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Professional writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
