Medical Assistant - Milwaukee

Job Type: Full-time

Job Hours: 8 AM to 6 PM – Monday Through Thursday. (Three days Weekend!)

You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Clinical duties

• Greeting patients and Family
• Escorting patients to the exam room
• Recording symptoms and updating medical histories
• Helping patients prepare to see the Doctor.
• Collecting and preparing laboratory samples or performing basic lab tests
• Assisting doctors during medical exams
• Discussing prescription and dietary changes with patients
• Handling prescription refill requests
• If needed – cleaning wounds and/or changing wound dressings.
• Administer Vaccines
• Doing electrocardiogram (heart test) and other medical tests
• Preferred excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Administrative duties

• Must be able to use Computers.
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Faxing document, printing documents, copy documents etc.
• Filing and updating medical records
• Making arrangements for a hospital visit or laboratory test.
• Handling incoming mail, making phone call to other doctors office/Hospital etc.
• Strong organizational Skills.
