We are looking for a Medical Administrative Assistant available to start immediately for a busy outpatient clinic. Previous medical/clinical experience and Electronic Health Record software proficiency are desired. Outstanding admin skills will be considered in place of direct experience.

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 100% onsite on the west side of Madison, WI

Responsibilities:

• Triage, route, and place patient calls
• Greet and check in patients when they arrive at the clinic
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Prepare patient charts, update information, and ensure all chart information in the Electronic Health Record is accurate and complete
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to work collaboratively as a part of an administrative team
• Knowledge of appropriate patient boundaries and HIPAA confidentiality standards
