SalaryPrivate Practice specializing in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and clinical research with 6 provides is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant/Scribe (4-5 Days per week).
Our practice offers full-service dermatology; Medical, Surgical, Cosmetic, Laser therapies and Clinical Trials research. We have a hardworking, proactive, happy team who care about the success of the practice and the quality of care we deliver.
The candidate should reliable and be able to multitask, a hard-worker and team player, with above average knowledge to provide expert patient care. Effective, compassionate and professional communication with patients, family members, and other health team members is essential, including the ability to provide clear instructions and education to patients regarding their condition and treatment plan.
Job duties to include:
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Assist physicians during visits - biopsies/surgical procedures/cosmetic procedures
- Scribe for physician during office visits
- Surgical instrument cleaning, stocking exam rooms, etc. Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Top Candidates will have:
- Type at least 50 words per minute.
- 2 years or more in dermatology, rheumatology or medical assisting
Opportunity is available for 4-5 days per week. No weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
