Medical Assistant/Scribe, Premed Or Pa Students Encouraged To Apply!

*BACK OFFICE MA/SCRIBE JOB OPPORTUNITY IN FOOTHILL RANCH (ORANGE COUNTY, CA) -NO MA CERTIFICATION NEEDED*

Dermatology practice in Foothill Ranch seeking for a determined and hard working individual for a back office MA/scribe.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Commitment must be AT LEAST 2 YEARS!!

-must be graduated

- No certificate needed, some experience in healthcare is **highly preferred**.

- The position is for T/TH and the hours are 10 am-5pm

-Position works directly with a board certified MD

BACK OFFICE DUTIES (including but not limited):

-Greeting patients with friendly demeanor

-Setting up patient/procedure rooms

-Assisting physician with procedures: cyst I&d, mole removals, keloid treatments, CO2 laser, botox, filler, lipoma removal, xanthoma removal, etc

-Documenting physician-patient encounters utilizing EHR (must be able to bring in a personal laptop for EHR access)

All applicants welcome, but preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree or a background in science. Willing to train the right candidate, including pre-medical students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
