Chief Medical Assistant/Scribe

NEED:

- Experienced medical assistant / scribe with at least 2-years experience to join growing team at NPMD in Encino.

- We provide primary care and aesthetic treatments to patients in Los Angeles and the Valley.

- Need medical assistant / scribe 9-5 to diligently track new and existing patient visits

-2+ years of experience as medical assistant / scribe in a clinic, urgent care or emergency room setting is a must.

PAY:

-Starting at $40/hr. - only willing to hire experienced medical assistants / scribes that have 2+ years of medical assistant / scribe experience in a clinic, urgent care or emergency room setting

Responsibilities:
- Medical Assistant / Scribe to Chief Nurse Practitioner
- Accurately and efficiently transcribe medical information into electronic health records (EHR)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete medical records
- Manage and organize medical documents, test results, and other relevant information
- Prepare charts and reports for review by healthcare providers
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and referrals as directed by healthcare providers

Requirements:
- 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE as a medical scribe / medical assistant in clinic, urgent care or emergency room setting
- Excellent listening, typing, and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately capture medical information
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experienced with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
