Medical Administrative Assistant

FYI – For your Information has an exciting new opportunity for an Employee Medical Exam Administrative Assistant supporting the DEA Health Services group and the Periodic Medical Exam Program.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Prepare medical examination packets and sent to employees in a timely manner.
• Review exam lists to determine who needs exam packets sent to them.
• Receive hard company and electronic complete exams.
• Input data into the Health Unit Medical Information System (HUMIS) for exam tracking.
• File medical exam paperwork in employee medical records.
• Maintain outstanding item trackers and follow up with employees who require follow-up documentation.
• Assist the Program Manager with reconciliations and verify accuracy of information.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Note this is a hybrid work schedule (2 days a week in the Arlington, VA office) with the first month onsite for training.
Required skills and qualifications:

• Associate's Degree.
• A minimum of 2 year's experience in a related role within a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of an organization both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to maintain or obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Highly Preferred – hands on experience with HUMIS
