FYI – For your Information has an exciting new opportunity for an Employee Medical Exam Administrative Assistant supporting the DEA Health Services group and the Periodic Medical Exam Program.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE WITH 3 DAYS ONSITE / IN OFFICE AT THE ARLINGTON, VA OFFICE.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Prepare medical examination packets and sent to employees in a timely manner.
- Review exam lists to determine who needs exam packets sent to them.
- Receive hard company and electronic complete exams.
- Input data into the Health Unit Medical Information System (HUMIS) for exam tracking.
- File medical exam paperwork in employee medical records.
- Maintain outstanding item trackers and follow up with employees who require follow-up documentation.
- Assist the Program Manager with reconciliations and verify accuracy of information.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Associate's Degree.
- A minimum of 2 year's experience in a related role within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of an organization both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to maintain or obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Highly Preferred – hands on experience with HUMIS
