We’re looking for someone to work closely with our graphic design team to produce a wide variety of content through video and audio media in support of marketing initiatives and campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about A/V, a fanatic for process, able to pivot direction based on data and feedback, and committed to staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies. This individual must have hands-on audio and video industry knowledge, and preferably experience supporting the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns and/or projects.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/working from home within the US and traveling an estimated 2-3 times per quarter. Travel may be to our headquarters office in Bethesda, MD, or to other locations across the country as assigned.
Primary Duties:
- Working cross-functionally, collaborate to develop strategies for building engaging video content of a variety of types, including animated explainer videos, live-action testimonial and storytelling videos, videos pulled from pre-recorded content, and more
- Plan, produce, edit and launch multimedia content for video including interviewing subjects, completing production, and recommending sound and graphics
- Shoot and edit video content, including creating kinetic-type and motion graphic videos
- Ensure all a/v projects are on-brand, on-budget, and on-schedule, including management of freelancers, talent permissions and licensing agreements as needed
- Manage and curate content assets and multimedia library, inventory, and storage
- Draft promotional social content summarizing multimedia, contribute to editorial calendar and content posting process
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)
- Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Audition
- Ability for frequent travel as needed for filming projects across the U.S.
Preferred KSA's:
- Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
- Experience with live streaming is a plus
- Experience interviewing talent.
- Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills; ability to work independently
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience working in health care creative a plus
