Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to work in our Forging Plant on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence. While supporting the goals of safety,quality,delivery,cost savings,moraqle and environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety focused who has worked in a manufacturing environment with strong project planning and manufacturing background.
- Must be willing to support floor activities and help troubleshoot problems related to maintenance and production.
- Must have the willingness to support the engineering department initiatives with focuses on relevant activities such as maintaining and improving safety, new job development, current job support, quality improvements, time efficiency improvements, machinery improvements that extend life, process improvements, tool and die improvements and cost saving.
- Must have knowledge or understanding of creating a budget, justification documents and timeline.
- Must have an understanding of completing projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Must have organizational skills of prioritizing, new and current projects. Ultimately, insuring company's targets.
- Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability and safety
- Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
- Solicit observations from operators
- Prepare product reports and documentation,
- Work with vendors to help implement and improve items on the floor.
- Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:
- Proven working experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Flexible Schedule
- Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically the ability to create charts and graphs, PowerPoint knowledge, solidworks, and AutoCad experience.
- Ability to read schematics and drawings
- Driven to see improvement and willing to put in the work to make it happen.
- Always looking for cost savings and how to implement them.
- Strong ability to take good notes and follow up on action items.
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing skills
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
