DBR is hiring Mechanical Designers/Engineers in Austin. Individual duties will include HVAC system design and specification, Construction Drawing drafting, code analysis, load calculations, submittal review, and energy analysis as required.
This is an architectural/planning design role, therefore experience working on K-12, higher education, commercial, government, data centers and multi-purpose facilities or similar projects is strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Knowledge/experience of mechanical engineering and design services. (Experience gained from internships or college work assignments may qualify to meet the preferred years of experience)
Skills:
- Familiar with mechanical codes, standards and guidelines
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit
- PE and/or LEED accreditation a plus but not required
- Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks and deadlines through to completion
- Ability to communicate and work with others as part of a project team
