About the Position
We are seeking a Materials Handling – Special Projects Lead to support our Marketing and Warehouse teams. The position will report directly to the Warehouse Director and provide guidance to the Materials Handling team (Mainly One Material Handler) by delegating duties and ensuring that all products are prepared for the Marketing Projects such as photoshoots (on-site and off-site) in a timely manner.
What you can offer us
• Be the point of contact for the Marketing department regarding identifying product movement for photoshoots.
• Work with the team to pull orders/product as needed for photoshoots using the RF Scanner
• Manage the unpack products for pre-photoshoot planning, as well as pack and return/QC the items post-photoshoot, using the RF Scanner
• Work with the Marketing Department for pre-photoshoot planning and staging
• Maintain photoshoot area cleanliness
• Manual labor required during photoshoots (lighting, hanging, or lifting heavy items)
• Assign out day-to-day work-flow at the beginning of the shift
• Work with the Warehouse Director to identify overtime on an as needed basis and communicate work plans to the team upon receipt of overtime approval.
• Ensure material handlers are efficient and complete tasks in a timely and safe fashion.

Requirements:Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong knowledge of the picking/put away processes
• Previous picking experience on a cherry picker/reach truck is a plus
• Strong knowledge of processing orders using an RF scanner
• Computer proficiency (Email,MS Office, WMS, and familiarity with Sage X3 or similar)
• Leadership skills with prioritization skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to organize
Physical Demands of the Position:
The position is required to occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift and/or move 50+ pounds. The individual will sometimes be operating a forklift, Reach Truck, or a Cherry Picker at a height of 20 feet.
