Business Development Associate
Global Trade Marketing, Inc. dba Ziglift Material Handling is one of the nation’s leading independent Storage Solutions companies. Ziglift has five branch locations in four states that specialize in providing innovative and cost-effective storage solutions for our customers.
Ziglift, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Development. The Business Development Associate is responsible for helping boost our growth and sales. The Business Development Associate will have knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist. The position reports directly to the Business Development Lead and will be expected to aid the sales department with data management and administrative duties when necessary. This position requires a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, including:
- Familiarizing yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
- Work directly with senior sales representative(s)
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients.
- Collate and maintain client information in the CRM database.
- Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and document keeping as required.
- Manage a variety of projects.
- Help to attract and build client relationships and identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing clients/relationships.
- Work to closely implement agreed-upon growth strategies by analyzing and securing data to inform or update strategies currently in place.
- Help enhance the ZMH brand in the marketplace by making new pitches and bringing in innovative ideas.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.
- Assists in ensuring projects deadlines and costs are met.
- Assist with other projects as requested.
Qualifications:
The individual should possess:
- Associate degree in business management, marketing, or related field, bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years’ relevant work experience in Business Development or similar field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Social Media savvy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Strong leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Friendly and positive demeanor
Job Type: Full Time
Location: In Office at any of our Locations
Pay Range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year base pay plus commission opportunity.
