The Temporary Item Master handles the end-to-end of our quality services, by gathering data from internal teams to enter accurate data into the ERP system to ensure project progression.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Enter, update, or review items, including but not limited to smart part number, descriptions, theoretical weights, prices, costs, dimensions, categories, tariff codes, bundle qty, bundle dimensions, and any other fields necessary to set up items.
- Updating the weights in the system to theoretical weights or working with the warehouse staff to obtain weight of items.
- Updating BOMs for components to include sub-parts.
- Verify correct descriptions are entered for items in ERP system.
- Verify tariff codes are accurate for items currently in ERP system.
- Work with Engineering Dept on new products lines needing to be entered into ERP with naming scheme and descriptions for product lines.
- Communicate with various internal departments to gather item information.
- Effective communication is critical for this role to gather information from various departments and communicate project status, remove impediments, and ensure project alignment.

- 3-5 years of experience as an Item Master or similar role
- Familiarity with ERP Microsoft NAV system
- Proven ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally.
- Temporary position for 3 months.
