Global Trade Marketing dba Ziglift Material Handling is one of the nation’s leading independent Storage Solutions companies. We have an immediate opening for a Welder and Fabrication Associate. Ziglift has six branch locations in four states that specializes in providing innovative and cost-effective storage solutions for our customers.
We are seeking a Certified MIG Welder and Fabrication Associate to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be using MIG equipment to weld large pieces of steel. You must be able to set up the equipment properly, know how to safely use grind, saw, drill, etc. You will need to know how to properly set up the material so the appropriate welding can occur that meets industry standards. You will also inspect the final products for quality and ensure technical specifications are met. For this position, applicants must also be able to perform other miscellaneous fabrication of racking and material handling inventory. Applicants must be able to pass an MIG weld test and a pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up welding equipment
- Weld steel according to specifications
- Clamp, grind, cut, tack-weld, or bolt components into position before welding
- Inspect final products for achieving quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all OHSA and welding safe practices
- Certified on a forklift
- Demonstrate proper handling of material
- Demonstrate proper use and handling of welding equipment, saws, grinders, and other tools
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- MIG welding experience (at least 3 years)
- Fabrication experience (at least 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail
- Welding Certification Required

- Speak, read, write, and understand English
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving equipment, fumes, airborne particles, and noise. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions. Work environment is warehouse/fabrication shop exposed to normal outdoor weather conditions.
Physical Demands
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
