The Material Handler maintains production by distributing raw materials to correct machines or workstations, and pulling products from workstations, and transporting them to the warehouse for placement by the Shipping/Receiving department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
• Previous experience in a Material Handling role within a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• A forklift certification and proficiency in operating material/color blending equipment is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manually move supplies from one location to another and maintain records for all items moved.
• Locate materials and supplies, verifying materials and supplies pulled meet production order specifications, and stage workstations.
• Prepare finished products for shipping by identifying, pulling, and securing products.
• Assist in the molding area as requested by the direct supervisor.
• Monitor supplies and finished product inventory levels.
• Communicate supply or product shortages to the Materials Handling Supervisor.
• Utilize a forklift to move heavy supplies or finished products from one location to another.
• Operate material/color blending equipment and more!
