UnspecifiedRaytheon is seeking a Material Handler who will be responsible for moving material from production buildings to storage magazines and managing inventory within warehouses and storage magazines. Daily responsibilities are based on fluctuating business and staffing demands and will include loading outbound material and unloading inbound deliveries while validating shipping documents and receipt of material.
Responsibilities to anticipate include but are not limited to:
- Operating a forklift and driving a truck.
- Packing and preparing material for shipment.
- Handle warheads, pyrotechnic devices, and complete ordnance weapons systems.
- Work with computer systems and applications.
- Perform hardware movement in factory.
- Follow detailed work instructions and processes to ensure safety and compliance.
- Willing to work with explosive items.
- Load/unload inbound/outbound shipments validating material against shipping documentation.
- Ability to operate pneumatic and manual tools.
- Monitor service/transfer orders and move material within SAP/PRISM
- Perform physical validation and systematic processing of inventories/cycle counts.
- Manage all hardware within area, tracking all quantities and performing cycle counts.
- Work closely with engineering, production control and all other support personal to resolve problems needed in SAP.
- General housekeeping
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Ability to obtain a HAZMAT Endorsement.
- Obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to pass an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) background screening.
- Work outside to load and unload materials year-round.
- Obtain a class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Qualifications We Value:
- Experience in assembly or related field
- Experience operating forklift, walker stacker, pallet jack, and other equipment normally associated with loading and unloading trucks.
- Ability to obtain or have two (2) years’ experience utilizing a class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical examiner’s certificate.
- Physical warehousing and inventory control experience.
- DoD SECRET or higher security clearance.
- Hazmat Certification with Hazmat Endorsement
- Hazmat Waste Generator
- IPC-A-610 CIS certificate or IPC-A-610 CIT certificate
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS certificate or IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIT certificate
- IPC J-STD-001 CIS certificate or IPC-J-STD-001 CIT certificate
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Certification
- Experience with SAP/PRISM
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
