SUMMARY:
The Marketing Supervisor is responsible for establishing and overseeing the marketing workflow with a focus on developing strategy, managing advertising, and executing promotions.

  • Oversee the end-to-end optimization and governance of marketing processes: ensure technology and automation are integrated and deployed effectively, funnels are optimized, goals are defined clearly and kept in focus, data is tracked properly, reports are used and insights applied, budgets are respected, planning is actionable, and communication routines are smooth.
  • Responsible for the management of all marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal department requests.
  • Lead effort in coordinating the implementation of monthly marketing strategy for properties and have ownership of monthly calendars of on-property marketing activities and offer matrices.
  • Assist in the creation of proformas, proposals and strategies for all marketing initiatives including, but not limited to advertising, special events, promotions, casino marketing and direct/database marketing.
  • Continually evaluate all events and promotions to ensure employee understanding, guest satisfaction and profitability, making recommendations to improve future performance.
  • Develop strong relationships and proactively communicate with internal and external teams to drive collaboration of marketing programs.
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations, ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives.
  • Develop, implement and manage operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives in defined areas.
  • Make improvements to templates/processes and create new tools and processes in support of business needs.
  • Develop and execute property marketing programming including internal communication, Shared Services coordination, vendor sourcing and oversight, contract facilitation and post event/initiative evaluation.
  • Assist with oversight of media used to communicate current and upcoming promotional efforts for the guests, team members, and Internal Controls.
  • Plan, develop, create and execute comprehensive social media strategy, identifying opportunities to integrate social media into business, marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Work directly with internal departments, outside agencies and vendors to facilitate advertising needs.
  • Closely monitor and manage online reputation across the web, providing timely guest service through all digital touchpoints.
  • Present a positive image of the Casino to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven success in areas such as customer loyalty, planning and execution

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
  • General comfort with using/learning marketing technology platforms and tools. Knowledge of Scientific Games systems like Elite Bonusing Suite, CMP, etc. is a plus.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.

  • Constant mental alertness, remembering/paying attention to/observing details, making decisions; directing others; following directions; concentrating amid distractions.
  • Occasionally sitting, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying, hearing, smelling and kneeling.
