Position Overview
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancies for the classification of Community Health Nurse Supervisor in the Primary and Preventive Care Division. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies in this classification in the Primary & Preventive Care Division for up to four (4) months.
The current openings are in the following areas:
Home Visiting Program
Salary range from $105,048 to $113,478
To lead, plan, and coordinate the activities and operations of an assigned health care program; to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the assigned program; and provide a variety of skilled nursing duties.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Training:
Training:
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in nursing .

Experience:
  • Four (4) years of registered nursing experience that includes a minimum of two (2) years' experience in public health nursing and two (2) years of lead or supervisory responsibility preferably within the last five (5) years. A master's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of supervisory experience.

License or Certificate:
  • Possession of an appropriate, valid State Registered Nurse license.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid CPR certificate.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, validNevada driver's license.
